Tia joined our team in September 2020 as an Engagement Organizer based in Central Oregon. Previously, Tia has interned with the Oregon Natural Desert Association and McKenzie River Land Trust, and, most recently, she spent a year working with a nonprofit land trust in Northeast Oregon's Wallowa County. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences and a minor in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Oregon in 2019, where she was involved in organizing for environmental and human rights issues. Born and raised in Bend, she grew up exploring the diverse landscape of Central Oregon. She enjoys adventuring to every corner of the state and loves backpacking, hiking, skiing, spending time with her family and her cat Ramsey. Tia is also a plaintiff in the federal lawsuit, Juliana V. US.
