Meet OLCV’s New Executive Director!

In Uncategorized by April Christenson

We are thrilled to introduce you to OLCV’s new Executive Director, Doug Moore.

Doug will join OLCV staff early next month after more than eight years on Capitol Hill, where he held senior positions with two members of Congress, including serving as chief of staff for former Congressman Jim Marshall.

Doug’s deep political experience will help us build on our electoral and grassroots strength. His experience winning tough races makes him a great fit for our organization’s mission of electing environmental champions and passing environmental priorities.

Doug brings an extensive background in electoral politics ranging from grassroots organizing to managing multi-million dollar campaigns. He’s worked on both statewide and congressional races, and has won numerous competitive races. In 2006, Doug’s management of Representative Jim Marshall’s campaign won praise from the Washington Post’s political column, “The Fix”, which called the campaign one of the ten best incumbent campaigns of the cycle.

Doug is ready to work to protect Oregon’s natural legacy, build on OLCV’s political strength and help grow our grassroots capacity throughout the state. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the OLCV community!
