Last Call for Questions: Climate Town Hall with Rep. Bonamici

In Event by OLCVstaff

Our Climate Town Hall with Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici is coming up next week on Monday, October 4th at 4pm! Today is your last day to submit a question for Rep. Bonamici before we select which questions will be asked live at the Town Hall. RSVP and submit your question here!

The Town Hall is happening at an exciting time. This week, the U.S. House is expected to vote on the Build Back Better Act, a once-in-a-generation opportunity that will transition our country to 100% clean energy by 2035, create good jobs in clean energy, and make sure that at least 40% of the benefits go toward the communities most affected by climate change, including low-income communities and communities of color.

Rep. Bonamici will share the latest details with us at the Town Hall on Monday, and let us know how it goes. This week is critical–big polluters have already tried to weaken the Build Back Better Act, and we need to make sure it stays as strong as possible. After a summer of deadly heat waves, wildfires, and drought, it’s more clear than ever that climate change is going to have a huge impact on our health, our communities, and our livelihoods, unless we take action as soon as possible. Find out how you can help support the Build Back Better Act and fight for clean energy, justice, and jobs at our Climate Town Hall. Make sure to submit your question by the end of the day, and RSVP by October 4th!

I look forward to seeing you there. Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime!
