Last night, House Republicans walked off a floor session in order to stall the legislative process. This is the third time in less than a year that Republican lawmakers have walked out on Oregonians, wasting tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars, and disrupting our democracy. We all have to show up for work, and Republican lawmakers should too.
On Monday, an important committee vote on the climate bill (SB 1530) was suddenly postponed. For now, a new version of the climate bill has been introduced to the House, and a public hearing has been scheduled this Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30pm. We urgently need to show our State Representatives that Oregon demands bold climate action! Can you join us on Thursday?
