Water

Our goal is that by 2020, the state of Oregon will fully implement programs and rules which will protect, restore and conserve wild native aquatic species and the waters they inhabit. Water quantity and quality in our rivers, on our Coast, and in our groundwater will significantly improve compared to today, making our waters safer for Oregonians to drink and swim, fish, and recreate in. Natural resource agencies will prioritize conservation of native species and their habitats, protection of public health, and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
