The time is now.
Most Oregonians haven't voted yet. Are you one of them? The time is now. Keep OLCV's Voter Guide handy when you fill out your ballot. OLCV has done the homework for you. We understand the issues. We've interviewed the candidates. And we've endorsed some 75 candidates in 2010 for races around the state.
In addition to voting, help OLCV talk to other voters!
With ballots and the election just days away, NOW is the most critical time to talk to voters. Please join us. Take a moment now to sign up to phonebank or canvass.
There couldn’t be more at stake. As Oregon’s communities brace for growth and grapple with the challenges of job creation, transportation choices, farm and forest protection and preserving our unique quality of life here, the people we elect at every level of government matter. The decisions they make about our air, our water and our land will have an impact that lasts beyond our lifetime.
That’s why OLCV is working to elect environmental champions like Dick Schouten for Washington County Chair and Bob Stacey for Metro President. That’s why OLCV is rallying Lane County to make sure we preserve the pro-conservation majority on the county commission we worked so hard to secure there. Oregon voters face clear choices about who will protect the environment and who won’t.
Please help OLCV-endorsed candidates power through the primary. Vote. Then help us talk to other voters.

Protection of remaining intact wilderness for its intrinsic value to all living inhabitants is as noble and worthy a goal as any development could possibly be. That's why we support organizations such as OLCV and our political representatives who work hard to protect Oregon's natural legacy.
