Thanks for blogging with us!

November 19, 2009

Thanks to everyone who participated in the live blog on Thursday. If you were there, you know that OLCV executive director Jon Isaacs live blogged for an hour, answering your questions about why passing Measures 66 and 67 is so important to Oregon's environmental legacy. If you weren't able to join us, you can read the thread here.

Many of you emailed questions ahead of time, others joined the thread as the blog was happening. We realized how many people were really paying attention when we ran into some technical difficultties that held us up for a minute, as calls and emails came in wondering where we had gone.

In this hour of interaction, two things became clear:

First, many of you are confused about the measures: what they do, why they need to pass.Check out a fact sheet on the environmental impacts of Measures 66 and 67.

Second, people are ready to get involved and do what it takes to pass these important measures. Stay tuned. We will soon need volunteers to help us win in January.

Thanks again. We look forward to seeing you at the next live blog!
