OLCV supports Dan Saltzman for Portland City Council

Saltzman is a strong, independent leader who puts problem solving ahead of politics.

Over the years, Dan Saltzman has demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting our clean air and water. Known for his pragmatism and innovative work around sustainability, Dan will continue to work hard to ensure all Portlanders have access to a clean, healthy environment. 

OLCV supports Dan Saltzman for Portland City Council

A short list of Dan's accomplishments include:

  • the creation of the Office of Sustainable Development (now the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability) – a pillar of Portland’s ability to attract green jobs.
  • leading the way on the Green Investment Fund and the City’s Green Building Policy

  • taking real steps to clean up the Willamette River through bioswales, green streets and the soon to be completed Big Pipe Project, which upon completion will stop literally millions of gallons of sewage from our spilling into our valuable waterways

 Re-elect Dan Saltzman for Portland City Council.
