Lane County Chapter encourages re-cycling of old gifts.
December 10, 2009
The Oregon League of Conservation Voters Lane County Chapter is encouraging members to recycle there used or unwanted gifts this year. To make it easy they have organised a collection event on December 27th at DIVA (110 W. Broadway) in downtown Eugene and are calling it the "Turn Your White Elephant Green" party. The event will start at 2:00p.m. with the gift collection and exchange beginning at 2:30p.m.
The Lane County chapter will be joined by local elected officials and other fans of recycling.
For all the details check out the event by viewing the event page here.
I vote for pro-environmental candidates because we can’t afford to sacrifice long-term stewardship for short-term gains.
