Join the conversation, tell your story

July 1, 2010

Join Oregonians around the state and make your voice heard on top environmental concerns.

The Summer Conversation Series is in full swing! Hosted by the Oregon League of Conservation Voters Education Fund (OLCV's sister organization), this statewide series of forums is connecting communities with each other, relevant experts, and elected lawmakers to talk about what Oregonians have identified as top environmental issues:

  • Job creation through renewable energy made in the USA
  • Reducing Oregonians' exposure to dangerous toxic chemicals
  • Balanced growth that protects our communities in the wake of the BP disaster
  • Protecting healthy watersheds and clean drinking water

How to participate:

The summer conversation series includes three evening dates in each of four counties. The forums are each one-hour conversations facilitated by respected community leaders and featuring topic-relevant experts from partner groups: 1000 Friends of Oregon, Environment Oregon, The Oregon Environmental Council, and The Renewable Northwest Project.

Click on a date in your county below for more information on topic and location.*
