Enviro Calls for Kitz!
We've got an exciting election coming up -- and a lot of work to do. At the top of the ballot is the race for governor, which presents Oregonians the opportunity to elect a true environmental champion. OLCV is working hard to make that happen and we need your help!
OLCV is organizing statewide "Enviro Calls for Kitz" nights, when hundreds of Oregonians across the state will all be calling fellow Oregonians to make sure they vote for John Kitzhaber.
John Kitzhaber has long shown exemplary commitment to our water, air, forests, farms and wildlife, and he has worked to strengthen the natural legacy we can pass on to future Oregonians.
In his eight years as governor, Kitzhaber defended Oregon against an anti-environment Legislature, vetoing 47 bills that would have reduced the protections the give us our great quality of life here. He has fought to protect Oregon’s rivers and iconic salmon, and the health of our communities and our kids.
