Cinnamon Rolls? Yes, please

September 17, 2011

Buy a cinnamon roll from the Cinnamon Roll Booth at the Beaverton Farmer’s Market on Saturday, September 17, and help keep Washington County a beautiful, family-friendly place to live and work.

The Washington County OLCV will be staffing the booth in exchange for an opportunity to spread the word about our organization and earn some money while we're at it.

We'll have irresistable pastries from the Beaverton Bakery, such as donut twists, cinnamon rolls and maple bars and we are the only place at the market to offer soda and water for purchase.

The Cinnamon Roll Booth is a staple at the Beaverton Farmer’s Market. It's helped numerous organizations introduce themselves to shoppers and raise money for their work. The booth is managed by the Highland Neighborhood Association, which is part of the City of Beaverton neighborhood organizations.

We also have volunteer spots available to help staff the Cinnamon Roll Booth. If you like to talk to people, care about protecting Washington County's rolling farmland and vineyards and miles of rivers and streams, sign up for a couple hours to help the Washington County OLCV crew. If you're interested in volunteering you can email Karen Schouten at karengschouten@gmail.com.
