2010: Oregon gets greener: top stories of the year, from plastic bag ban to BPA

 Let's face it: 2010 was another rough year for the environment.

The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico made history as the largest accidental oil spill ever, around 205 million gallons. 

And Congress failed to pass an energy bill to help make a dent in our emissions as climate change continues to affect the nation and world. 

That makes what's going on at the state level all the more important.
