It’s finally here. The time when we all get a chance to make our voices count. For Oregon, this is our chance to elect leadership who will uphold what we love about Oregon, especially when the Trump Administration attempts to tear it down and roll us back.
We have a lot at stake – the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we farm, hike, explore, and live on. The next generation has even more at stake. That’s why I am proudly voting for Governor Kate Brown.
She’s why I worry a little less about what happens at the federal level. Still worry, of course. But over the last two years, I just have to remind myself how lucky I am to live in Oregon and I feel better. We still have work to do, but with Governor Kate Brown, we are going to get it done. We are going to continue to protect our air, water, land, and climate. And we’re going to pass the Clean Energy Jobs bill to transition away from dirty fossil fuels to clean energy so that the next generation gets to enjoy Oregon as we do.
And there’s more! Using our new plan your ballot tool at myballot.olcv.org, all you have to do is put in your address to find all the OLCV-endorsed environmental and climate candidates on your ballot. And even more! For some local city council races across the state, including Corvallis, Keizer, Astoria, Ashland, and more, we have provided candidates’ answers to two environmental questions. While OLCV did not conduct an endorsement process in these races, we want to provide as much information as possible about where they stand on the environment.

Vote NO on Measures 104 and 105
We have 18 days and we can’t afford to waste them. Ballots are being mailed out, and you should be getting yours any day now. Please make sure your friends and family know how important this election is for our environment. A call, a text, or an email could all make the difference on whether they vote.
OLCV is grateful to all of our members, and I want to give a special shout out to all our local leadership members who conducted almost 200 candidate interviews this year! All of our endorsed candidates have completed an OLCV questionnaire and had an interview with members like you. Find out who on your ballot gets OLCV’s Seal of Approval!
