Supporters to celebrate Measure 49 passage

The
Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV) will kick off the 2008
election year and honor volunteers who helped pass Measure 49 with a
special event 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at The Embarcadero, 1000 SE
Bay Blvd., Newport).
Representative Jean Cowan, Lincoln City
Mayor Lori Hollingsworth and other elected officials and special guests
will be present, and OLCV officials will unveil their 2008 election
goals.
