2008 Elections
OLCV has endorsed the following candidates based on their environmental record, their views on environmental issues, and their leadership skills. Learn more about OLCV's endorsement process.
There are some races where an endorsement decision is still in-process or where candidates in uncontested primaries chose not to apply until after the primary. So, if a race isn't listed below, it doesn't necessarily mean we won't issue an endorsement before the primary or for the general election.

But we are prepared and have our sights set on the 2008 elections. Our campaigning, public education and advocacy makes a difference.
There are also many key local county commission and city council races around the state where we must be victorious. And the important statewide offices of Secretary of State, Treasurer, and Attorney General are all open. Since each of these positions carries important environmental responsibilities, we must ensure that pro-environment champions win these seats.
2007 November Special Election
Measure 49 passed resoundingly and will restore fairness for landowners and protect Oregon's farmland, forests, and groundwater from reckless development where it doesn't belong.

During the 2006 election, OLCV targeted its resources into a handful of key legislative and local government races where we could most make the most difference. We then communicated with voters in those races at the door, on the phones, via the internet, and through the mail.
