The Summer Conversation Series starts next week! Hosted by the Oregon League of Conservation Voters Education Fund (OLCV's sister organization), this statewide series of forums will connect communities with their elected lawmakers to talk about what Oregonians have identified as top environmental issues:
- Job creation through renewable energy made in the USA
- Reducing Oregonians exposure to dangerous toxic chemicals
- Balanced growth that protects our communities in the wake of the BP disaster
- Protecting healthy watersheds and clean drinking water
How to participate:
This is your chance to connect personally with State Senator Martha Schrader on key environmental issues. There will be three forums in Clackamas County. Each one will be a one-hour conversation focused on one topic, featuring relevant experts, and facilitated by respected community leaders. Anyone can attend!
