Climate Advocacy Night, tonight! Will you Join?
Join the Healthy Climate Partnership for an evening of phone and letter writing advocacy around our two cornerstone climate bills of the session, Senate Bill 80 and House Bill 2186. The calls are easy and rewarding, and writing letters to the Editor of our local newspapers is a neat way to engage with the issue while also spreading awareness.
There will be ample amounts of food and refreshments, so block off a few hours for an opportunity to work towards passing these bills, and to have dinner on us.
When: Tonight, Wednesday May 20th, from 5:30 - 8:00 pm
Where: Oregon Environmental Council Office, 222 NW Davis, Ste 319, Portland
Contact: Seth Moore, seth@hcporegon.org
Protection of remaining intact wilderness for its intrinsic value to all living inhabitants is as noble and worthy a goal as any development could possibly be. That's why we support organizations such as OLCV and our political representatives who work hard to protect Oregon's natural legacy.
