Amelia Cates, Development Assistant

Amelia joined the OLCV staff in September after graduating from Portland State University with a degree in community development. Outside of OLCV, she volunteers with the Portland Central American Solidarity Committee, helps organize the Portland Grassroots Media Camp, and is on the board of directors at the Alberta Cooperative Grocery store. She loves reading, eating homemade meals, and sewing. Email her at amelia@olcv.org

Katy Daily, Political Director


Katy has served as OLCV's Political Director since April 2006. She previously worked for OLCV as Coordinator of the Oregon Conservation Network and a Field Organizer from Dec 2000 - Nov 2003. In between, she worked as Conservation Organizer for Friends of the Columbia Gorge and M&R Strategic Services. Email her at katy@olcv.org.


Tresa Horney,
Program and Communications Director

Tresa made the move from the Big Apple to the City of Roses in 2006. She lived and worked in NYC for 6 years where she organized for the Sierra Club and advocated for NYC based Transportation Alternatives. She spent time in 2004 campaigning for the environmental vote in New Hampshire during the primaries, and Philadelphia during the general election. Email Tresa at tresa@olcv.org.



Evan Manvel, Legislative Affairs Director

Prior to joining OLCV in March 2008, Evan co-founded the Corvallis Environmental Center, served as Education and Research Director at 1000 Friends of Oregon, and was the Executive Director of the Bicycle Transportation Alliance. He has over twenty years of experience advocating for environmental issues at the local, state, and national levels. He has a Masters in Public Policy and Urban Planning from Harvard University, and enjoys travel, photography, bike commuting, and Oregon and Belgian beer. Email Evan at evan@olcv.org.


Jeanne Winslow, Office Manager

Molly Kramer, Development Director

Prior to joining the OLCV staff in 2004 Molly was Development Director at WaterWatch of Oregon.  Molly studied Environmental Studies at University of Montana and history at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.  In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her dog Porkchop, gardening, reading New Yorker cartoons, and camping with husband Stiv Wilson in their Westy. She recently built a potting bench, her first foray into carpentry.  Email Molly at molly@olcv.org

Mat Marr, Jackson County Organizer

Mat joined OLCV in summer 2005. A native of the Rogue Valley, Mat is the youngest person ever elected to the Ashland School Board. During the 2004 election, he was an organizer for MoveOn.org, working on the Presidential race. Email Mat at mat@olcv.org



Keith Quick, Field Organizer

Keith joined our staff in July of 2007. He is a graduate of Southern Oregon University where he majored in Political Science. Previously, he worked as a political consultant in Southern Oregon. Most recently he worked for SEIU in California where he organized public sector temp workers in Los Angeles and the Central Valley. He is most proud of the work he did with the Teamsters organizing Port of Los Angeles Truck Drivers to support the Clean Trucks Program. “Si Se Puede!” Email Keith at keith@olcv.org.

Jonathan Poisner, Executive Director

Jonathan has served as Executive Director of OLCV since 1997.  Prior to taking the helm at OLCV, he worked as regional staff for the Sierra Club, as a writer, an Adjunct Law Professor, a legal research fellow, and a lawyer.  He currently serves on the board of directors of the League of Conservation Voters in Washington, DC.  Email him at jpoisner@olcv.org

Meredith Shield, Field Organizer

Meredith hails from the great State of New York. She moved to the Portland area in the summer of 2004. Meredith has worked at a number of political orgs and is excited to be part of the OLCV family. She loves to hike and camp throughout Oregon. Email her at meredith@olcv.org
