Lesley Bennett
Chief Financial Officer

Lesley joined the OLCV staff in March 2011. In 2004 and 2005 she served on the OLCV's Clackamas County Steering Committee. Lesley has worked in politics for more than fifteen years, including a stint on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.  Lesley is a native Oregonian, and will brag about that fact at any opportunity. In her spare time she can be found trying to expand her limited culinary skills, sewing pajamas and hanging out with her two energetic daughters.

Tresa Horney
Metro Portland Organizer

Tresa made the move from the Big Apple to the City of Roses in 2006. She lived and worked in NYC for 6 years where she organized for the Sierra Club and advocated for NYC based Transportation Alternatives. She spent time in 2004 campaigning for the environmental vote in New Hampshire during the primaries, and Philadelphia during the general election.

Molly Baer Kramer
Development Director

Molly joined the OLCV staff in 2004 and has over a decade of experience fundraising for conservation organizations. Molly studied environmental studies at the University of Montana and history at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. During her tenure, OLCV's Annual Celebration for the Environment has grown into one of the largest political events in Oregon, attracting over 1,100 guests and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the organization. Molly also served as Interim Executive Director from July-December 2011.

Andy Maggi
Political Director

Andy Maggi came to OLCV in late 2008, after managing the legislative races of Rep. Brad Witt, Rep. Tobias Read, and Linda Brown. Most recently Andy worked supporting the political work and transportation and infrastructure policy of Congressman Earl Blumenauer, where he also worked with Meeky. Andy has a degree in Environmental Ethics and Policy from the University of Portland and while there led students in the first sustainability audit at the University. When Andy is not working he is probably hiking, camping, listening to his record collection, or playing his guitar.

Molly McGuire
Development Associate

Molly joined the OLCV staff in January 2011. Most recently she worked as a Fundraising Assistant for The Ashmead Group. Molly got her start working in politics on U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley’s successful 2008 campaign. Molly grew up in Southern Oregon and moved to Portland in 2007.

Ashley Miller
Mid-Willamette Valley Organizer

Ashley joined the OLCV staff in March 2010, after volutneering as a Lane County steering committee member. Ashley graduated from the University of Oregon in 2006, where she studied political science and environmental studies. After she graduated, she worked as a campaign coordinator for a judicial race in Lane County. She also worked as the Lane County organizer for the Yes on Measure 49 campaign, and then as the campaign manager for the mayoral race in Eugene in the 2008 primary. She has been involved in local politics, and is excited to be part of the OLCV team.

Doug Moore
Executive Director

Doug joined the OLCV staff in December 2011 after more than eight years on Capitol Hill, where he held senior positions with two Members of Congress, including serving as Chief of Staff for former Representative Jim Marshall.

Doug has an extensive background in electoral politics ranging from grassroots organizing to managing multi-million dollar campaigns. He’s worked on both statewide and congressional levels and has won several competitive races. In 2006, Doug’s management of Representative Jim Marshall’s campaign won praise from the Washington Post’s political column, “The Fix”, which called the campaign one of the ten best incumbent campaigns of the cycle.

Originally from Northwest Indiana, Doug’s interest in conservation began at a young age while swimming near the steel mills along the Lake Michigan shore. He is a voracious reader and also enjoys hiking, rafting, and spending time with his wife, Samantha, and their son, Liam.

Nikki Roemmer
Central Oregon Organizer

Nikki joined the OLCV staff in November 2011. Prior to working as OLCV’s Central Oregon Organizer she was a Sustainability Advocate at The Environmental Center, in Bend, where she managed The Green Spot's online and print directories, organized monthly Green Drinks events, and lead the nominations and selection process for the annual Sustainability Awards.

In 2009, she organized a climate change rally as part of the International Day of Climate Action and in 2010 she helped organize voter forums for local elections. Nikki received a BA from Oregon State University in 2005. She enjoys traveling, food, yoga, bicycles, dancing, playing in the snow and backpacking with her pooch. 

Meredith Shield
Oregon Conservation Network Director

Meredith rejoined the OLCV staff in 2010 after working as Oregon Rep. Jules Bailey's Chief of Staff. As the Oregon Network Conservation Director, she coordinates the nearly 50 member groups in OCN's mission to pass laws in the Oregon Legislature that protect Oregon's environment for generations to come. Originally from New York, Meredith has called Oregon home since 2004 and enjoys hiking, gardening and seeing live music throughout the state.
