Guy Nelson
Guy lives with his wife in Lincoln City, OR and is blessed with two children and four grandchildren who live in the great Pacific Northwest. He enjoys reading and jogging on the beach, though not at the same time.
Guy is the Executive Director of the Utility Geothermal Working Group. A graduate in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University, he has more than 30 years of experience in all phases of the electric utility industry, including resource planning, power plant operations, transmission and distribution maintenance, billing, rates, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and public participation.
Protection of remaining intact wilderness for its intrinsic value to all living inhabitants is as noble and worthy a goal as any development could possibly be. That's why we support organizations such as OLCV and our political representatives who work hard to protect Oregon's natural legacy.
